Updates

Fall 2026 

Starting at UT Austin as a lecturer. I will be teaching sophomore aural skills, music for non-majors, and a graduate review course. No conferences currently scheduled, but I have two co-authored pieces in the works, an article out for review, another chapter that's in the final stages of review, and a chapter that's due out next month. Hoping to attend more concerts this year and perhaps join a group to perform with.​

"Sabbatical" Year 

For a full summary, read my recent blog post. One thing I forgot to mention—I signed on as a consortium member for Ethan Wickman's forthcoming horn trio, "That Gong-tormented Sea"! Really looking forward to learning the piece and for Drew Stephens' world premiere of it.
